Bread cabinet - details

Jig used to machine the groove inside the curved jambs of thesliding door. Dado blades machines the wood between the two guides. The cut is made in two opposite passes when the group of blades is not large enough to make it in one pass.

Before grooving, the interior profile of the part is cut with a band saw and then sanded. The part is then machined with the jig adjusted to the desired depth. Then the outside curve of the part is cut with a band saw, the surface sanded and the edges rounded with a router.
